Fiddle player & songwriter
View this post on Instagram Celtic Connections gig on the Danny Kyle Open Stage with Kris Lannen from @brother_sea_music and David Bowden on double bass, bringing original Cornish music (and some songs in the Cornish language, Kernewek) to our Celtic cousins. Kris’s songs bring a smile to my face every time, there is space and beauty and poetry in each one. It was a real joy to play with these great musicians for such a warm and supportive audience, and to hear the amazing variety and skill of the musicians on before us. If you’re super-keen you can hear it all again on Celtic Music Radio. Photos: the venue – Glasgow Royal Concert Hall; the stage is set; Kelvingrove museum – free, with brilliant and inspiring exhibits; funky artwork outside the rehearsal studio in Ayr where we prepared our set. #celticconnections #dannykyleopenstage #glasgow #folkmusic #isawadinosaur #cornishmusic #kernow #cornwall #kernewek #celticmusic #ccfest19 @celtic_connections @radicalforjesus @glasgowkelvingrove @celticmusicradio95fm A post shared by Lizzie Pridmore (@teawithlizzie) on Feb 5, 2019 at 4:19am PST
